You may remember last summer, Mac Miller hit the Id Labs studio with fellow Pittsburgher Yung Ka to grant his Make-A-Wish, wish. Tonight that song, “Numb The Pain” has been released to the masses on Ka’s new mixtape “Cancer Vs Me.” On this track Ka gives his entire story about how his cancer started and how he continues to battle it. While Mac does not have any verses on the song, he was a great coach to help Ka write some very deep lyrics. Id Labs on the beat!
Yesterday we posted a great story about Mac Miller recording a song with Bob Stewart, a rapper from Pittsburgh who is suffering from cancer. Below is a a much more in depth video than the one we posted yesterday. This video features a behind the scenes look of the recording process with more interviews from Bob and Mac.

You may remember back in December when Mac Miller donated $50k to the Make-A-Wish foundation during his concert in Pittsburgh. Yesterday Mac continued working with the Make-A-Wish foundation as he helped to grant the wish of Bob Stewart (aka Yung Ka), a young rapper who suffers from a disease known as T-cell lymphoma. The two hit up ID Labs and recorded some material that we should expect to hear real soon. It is always awesome to see a famous rapper like Mac give back to his community. Mac Miller promised that if he reached 50k pre-orders of his album ‘Blue Slide Park‘ that he would donate $50,000 to Make-A-Wish foundation. Although the album didn’t presale 50k copies the album still sold over 50k copies and tonight at Stage AE in Pittsburgh Mac Miller made good on his promise. Check out the video below of Mac Miller donating the $50k, its just a great gesture by a young kid!
