Mac Miller In 2014: “I Have 4 Albums Done”

It’s not like Mac Miller spent 2013 doing nothing: The Most Dope rapper dropped two LPs, one mixtape under his Delusional Thomas alias and headlined a tour. Anyone who thought the Pittsburgh MC might take some time off has another thing coming.

“I have four albums done right now — not done, but four albums that have a foundation and have at least seven songs on each of them,” Mac told MTV News when we visited his home studio in Studio City, California.

Miller isn’t sure how any of these four albums will be released — after all, he has released projects under a number of aliases, such as Delusional Thomas and Larry Lovestein & the Velvet Revival.

Mac Miller Speaks On Lil B, NJOMZA, MTV Show & More

In sight of ‘The Space Migration Tour’ making its way to Jersey, our own Kymmi Cee made her way over to The Stony Pony in Asbury Park to catch up with Mac Miller. They spoke of Mac’s inspiration; Lil B, the Most Dope Records female signee; NJOMZA – who Mac says is “dope” – and the possibility of a Season 2 for his reality MTV series; “Mac Miller and The Most Dope Family.” Mac and Kymmi even got into a “what-is-vegetarian” dispute. Eating fish and calling yourself a vegetarian is like being a fake ganster-rapper as per Mac, and maybe he’s right…so what?

When you hear the name Steelers what is the first thing that comes to mind?
Super Bowl champs and family. I have traveled all around the world and you meet Steelers fans everywhere. It’s pretty awesome. There are so many fans in every city. Mac Miller Names His 5 Favorite Tracks On “Watching Movies With The Sound Off”

Mac Miller recently spoke with The Source and revealed his top 5 favorite tracks on his new album, “Watching Movies With The Sound Off.” How does his top 5 compare to yours?? Hit us up on twitter @macmillersite

1) “Objects In The Mirror”

“Objects” is a beautiful song. The song was channeling addictions and personifying them as a female.

2) “Avian”

“Avian”, to me, is the heart and soul of the album. It’s the biggest representation of the album to me. It’s surrealism, very spiritual. I love that hook and I made the beat so that makes me bias.

3) “REMember”

“Remember” has so much emotion in that song.

4) “Aquarium”

I think those are the two greatest verses I’ve ever spit in my life. It’s my analysis of the world.

5) “The Star Room”

[It's] the most honest joint I’ve ever made. It was just the perfect way to set off the album. The two voices, the one inside my head and me, it’s Linda like the voice inside your head represents the bizarreness. Then, it’s like, I’m shaking it off, spitting, and then falling victim to it at the end.

Bonus:

“Youphoria”

“Youphoria” is just a ballad. It’s actually all about a vagina. The whole thing is about a pussy, a very deep spiritual vagina.
