Today Mac Miller’s album ‘Blue Slide Park’ releases world wide, in honor of this feat Mac has released a brand new computer game for the album. In the game you control Mac as he slides down a blue slide and collects ice cream cones while avoiding the dog poop. Collect 1500 points and your name will be entered for a chance to win some cool prizes! They need to release this game as an iPhone or Facebook app asap!

This week MTV will cover the Pittsburgh hip-hop scene. The footage was filmed the week of Mac Miller’s homecoming shows back in December. In the first video MTV follows Mac around Blue Slide Park where he talks about his childhood and more.
Some call it Steel City, others call it the City of Bridges, but Mac Miller simply calls his hometown “the illest city in the world.”

Mac Miller’s “Blue Slide Park Tour” was one of the most successful musical tours of 2011. Mac Miller promises us a video for every song on ‘Blue Slide Park’ and tonight he gave us with the fourth video off the album. “Of The Soul” is one of Mac’s dopest video’s yet with some incredible coloring and editing by Rex Aarow Films.
It’s no wonder Mac Miller’s fan are so dedicated, he just keeps on giving! Early this morning Mac Miller announced via his twitter that he will be releasing a video for every song on Blue Slide Park. Most artists only release two or three videos per album but Mac is no ordinary artist as he continues to prove you don’t have to stick to the plan to see success. We’ll be sure to post the videos as they are released so stick around!

Last night Mac Miller wrapped up his ‘Blue Slide Park Tour’ in no place better than his hometown, Pittsburgh. After Mac left the stage last night he was presented with a plaque for selling out every show on the ‘Blue Slide Park Tour’. Congrats to Mac and lets hope for many more tours in the years to come!
Last night Mac Miller came home to his city of Pittsburgh to put on a memorable show. Mac performed in front of over 2400 fans as he headlined his first big show in the city. I (@pitpanther01) was on hand to collect some pictures, videos, and the entire setlist from Mac Miller’s performance.

Incase you missed Mac Miller on MTV’s RapFix with Sway yesterday we have the video below. During the videos Mac discusses being the #1 album and takes questions from the fans. Mac also says he’s still working on 92 Til Infinity with Jazzy Jeff.
Over the past week we collected tons of pictures of fans with their copies of Mac Miller’s debut album ‘Blue Slide Park’ which Mac himself called “one of the most amazing things i’ve ever seen”. Many of you were wondering what we would do with the pictures. Instead of making a video or slideshow we wanted to take it a step further so we created a mosaic. Click on the picture below to enlarge the picture and zoom in to find yourself. Every picture that was submitted was used in the creation of the mosaic. Once again congratulations to Mac Miller and the whole team for making history with the #1 album ‘Blue Slide Park’.
Mac Miller has been hustling for this moment: the release of his debut effort, “Blue Slide Park” (Nov. 8). In three years the 19 yr. old has sold out shows, rounded up 176 million and plus YouTube views and has even got the nod by Donald Trump, all without a record deal.
Days after his first “Blue Slide Park” single “Frick Park Market” dropped (Aug. 18), the independent artist grabbed the highest-rentry mark on the Social 50 Chart, coming in at No. 38. With the debut, Miller’s Facebook fans leaped from 44,000 to 100,000 new fans added, week-to-week.
If that’s not enough, the fans’ excitement for Miller’s 16-songs set can be seen by the towering number of pre-orders. As mentioned in Mac Miller’s Billboard cover story, Miller racked 25,000 pre-orders when he unveiled the album title and has since climbed to around 41,000.

But, though the two White Pennsylvania-bred MCs —Asher is from Morrisville and Mac is from Pittsburgh— and former XXL Freshmen have drawn comparisons for their college-friendly fanbase, carefree content and weed-head persona, their careers appear to be headed in different directions.
Two years after Asher’s debut, Asleep in the Bread Aisle, released via SRC/Universal, failed to meet commercial expectations—selling 62, 000 in its first week—Mac’s debut, Blue Slide Park, is projected to sell roughly 100, 000 units independently in its first week. And, according to Mac, he knows exactly where the former Great White Hope went wrong.
