Well its official, Mac Miller has made indy artist! His debut album ‘Blue Slide Park’ has debuted at #1 on Billboard’s charts, it is the first indepedent rap album to debut at #1 since the Dogg Pound’s ‘Dogg Food’ in 1995. The final numbers came in at 145,915 sold, a very impressive number. Congrats to Mac Miller and everyone else in MostDope as well as the folks at Rostrum Records and ID Labs. 2011 was definitely Pittsburgh’s year!!
