Mac Miller is still busy out in LA putting in lots of work. Today he updated us on his work via twitter and reported that he was doing verses for both French Montana and DJ Drama. Look for these songs coming soon!

Mac Miller Working With Juicy J + Lex Luger?

For the past couple of weeks, Mac Miller has been out in Los Angeles, California putting in work. Mac has worked with a lot of artist in his time in Cali, most recently he has reunited with the Trippy Mane himself, Juicy J. You may remember these two appering on the songs, “California Highway” and “Bands (Remix)” in 2011. These two are not strangers at all as they also performed together on Mac Miller’s tour last year.

Also worth noting is that last night Mac Miller took to twitter to thank Lex Luger. With a tweet like that you have to think that Mac will be rapping on one of his beats in the near future. This duo could create a great club anthem.

For the final day of MTV’s “Back To The Burgh With Mac Miller”, MTV talks with Mac Miller about who he thinks is next from Pittsburgh. During this feature MTV interviews Pittsburgh MC’s Franchise & Vinny Radio of The Come-Up, Kellee Maize, and Boaz. Most of the footage was captured at Pittsburgh’s historic hip-hop shop, Time Bomb Shop, while the shop owner Brick Diggler also makes an appearance in the video.

American Idol Uses Mac Miller’s “Knock, Knock”

Last night American Idol used Mac Miller’s song “Knock Knock” as part of their show. Although it was only the instrumental it was still pretty cool seeing Mac’s song being used for a big television show like this.

Take a tour of ID Labs with Mac Miller

ID Labs, most notable for the success of Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller was put on display a few hours before Mac Miller’s homecoming show on December 9th. The studio has been pivotal in Mac and Wiz’s development and was opened by E. Dan in 2003. Wiz Khalifa’s classic 2010 mixtape Kush & Orange Juice and a huge chunk of his gold major-label debut Rolling Papers were recorded in ID Labs, as was Mac’s Best Day Ever mixtape and his #1 debut Blue Slide Park. Mac Miller Takes MTV Backstage For Pittsburgh Homecoming

MTV’s coverage of Mac Miller’s homecoming continues today. In today’s feature MTV goes backstage with Mac for his first Pittsburgh homecoming show at Stage AE. If you missed our review of the show from back in December check it out here.

Mac Miller wasn’t always this popular, and his concerts weren’t always quite so packed.

“I performed for five people at a ‘hood-ass club, and no one looked at me,” Mac recalled of one of his earliest shows as a teen in Pittsburgh. “They were like, ‘Who’s this little-ass white kid?’ ”

How times have changed. On December 9, the Blue Slide Park MC returned to his hometown to perform a pair of sold-out shows at Stage AE, with a gang of hits and a #1 album under his belt and a legion of new fans.

Dj Whoo Kid & Mr. Peter Parker are prepping their new mixtape “Frat Rap” which will feature many up and coming party music artists including Sam Adams, Huey Mack, and Mac Miller. Contrary to the title of this mixtape “Frat Rap”, Mac Miller brings us a nice smooth track, “Death Of the Emcee” where he spits hard. This track seems to be a few years old as Mac name drops “The High Life” in one of his bars.
