Last night, Funk Master Flex dropped off his brand new mixtape, “Who Ya Mad At? Me or Yourself”, which featured exclusives from dozens of the hottest artists in hiphop. Mac Miller appeared on this tape with a track entitled “Salamander.” The track features a lot of funny lines but at the same time Mac shares some deep thoughts. Listen and download below:

Mac Miller is all over the screen right now! While his TV show just finished its first season run, Mac makes an appearance in ‘Scary Movie 5′, which is currently in theaters, and now his track “Up All Night” is featured in a new trailer for the upcoming movie ‘Peeples.’ Watch the full trailer below and catch it in theatres on May 10th!
“I can’t tell if he’s showing me love or being a douche bag,” Mac Miller explained following Trump’s past tweets that found him praising the smash record. Except these messages sort of read more subliminal than congratulatory, according to Mac. “You expect it to be love off top. He’s doing [all this] suspect shit like, ‘You’re welcome Mac Miller’— You’re welcome for what? You want me to change the song name to Bill Gates? Whatever. [Laughs]“

The newest emcee coming out of Mac Miller’s Most Dope collective and REMember Music record label is Primavera Vills. In a recent article, the Pittsburgh City Paper hailed Vills as one of “Pittsburgh’s most gifted lyricists”. His diction is expansive, and loose references range from video games characters (ex.“Chun Li”) to legendary athletes (ex. “The Number 23”). Mix that with a flow and production style (yeah he produces too) that Vills describes in his own dialect as “TRAYB” and you have a sick project which we like to call “Anti-Flu Anniversary“. The 5th installment of the Scary Movie series hits theaters this Friday, April 12th. We’ve seen the trailer featuring Mac Miller & Snoop Dogg, now we have a small sneak peak of their cameo. In the hilarious clip below Mac tries to help Snoop fight off a creepy crawler-spider girl.
Over the weekend Mac Miller released two tracks on itunes. “Lucky Ass Bitch” featuring Juicy J & The theme song for his TV show “Mac Miller & The Most Dope Family.” Each track is available for just $1.29 (Links are provided below). Hopefully the release of “Lucky Ass Bitch” on itunes means that we will soon be getting the music video which was shot last year!

Ariana Grande’s new single, “The Way”, featuring Mac Miller is officially a hit. This week the single debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 at #10. This is the first time that either Mac or Ariana have landed a top 10 single. Congrats to them!

The season finale of Mac Miller’s tv show, “Mac Miller & The Most Dope Family” debuted on MTV 2 earlier this week. This weeks show features Mac and the gang heading to Las Vegas where they celebrated Mac’s 21st birthday with a lot of girls, partying, and good times.
While it’s sad to see the show come to the end there seems to be a great deal of optimism about a 2nd season. You can check out the official TV ratings here. Most notably it is mentioned that ““Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family” delivered the highest rated original debut season ever on MTV2.” Stay tuned as we should find out in the coming weeks if the show will be renewed!
