Friday night Mac Miller & Wiz Khalifa brought their Under The Influence Of Music Tour to Camden,NJ where they put on a show for greater than 25,000 spectators. There was inclement weather and one of Mac’s speakers even blew at one point, during this time Mac filled in with a crazy freestyle! Below is tons of videos from the outstanding show:
On Thursday night the show shifted to Jones Beach in New York, New York. Unfortunately a few people didn’t come through on their promises to write a fan blog for this show, but I still found some dope pics/vids from the stop which you can check out below.
Wednesday night Boston saw The Under The Influence Of Music Tour hit their town. This was the 7th of 11 shows headlined by Mac Miller & Wiz Khalifa. Kimmy was on hand to write our latest fan blog, see what she had to say below:
Let’s start off saying it was amazing, it seemed like alot more people were there for Mac Miller, but im a HUGE fan of Wiz so i was basically going more hard to him lol.
Chevy Woods definitely killed the stage, his performance was highlighted by a performance of the track “Two Hundred” where he brought out fellow Taylor Ganger, Tuki Carter. Kendrick Lamar was unable to make the show for unknown reasons. Chiddy Bang and Schoolboy Q did their thing before Mac took the stage.
Recently Mac Miller sat down for this 12 minute interview. The rapper talks about a number of things including his latest mixtape, “Macadelic”, Big L, the evolution of music, his family, and his relationship with fellow Pittsburgher Wiz Khalifa.
Back in 2008 when Mac Miller was just plain old Malcolm, the Pittsburgh MC took a pilgrimage to New York to watch Nas headline Rock the Bells at Jones Beach, the very same theatre where he co-headlined on Thursday night (August 2) with Wiz Khalifa. The experience has quite the effect on him.
“I came to see Rock the Bells when it was at Jones Beach, when Nas was there and f–kin’ brought out Jay, it was nuts,” Mac told MTV News from his tour bus last night of the unforgettable show. “I was there in the crowd, it changed my life, when Nas came out and performed ‘Made You Look,’ that changed my life. Now I get to rock the same venue as a headliner, it’s crazy.”

Here is what our buddy Stephen had to say about the show:
I arrived at the show at 5pm was in line at the merchandise booth when Boaz came on stage to do a few songs. He did a dope job on stage before Chevy came out to Homerun and did some tracks off Gangland.
A few tracks from the Cook Out followed, before he did the Yonkers freestyle and another off the top of his head. Then Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar did there thing. With Chiddy Bang performing in between with songs like Breakfast, opposite of adults, and mind your manners. Chiddy also did a freestyle using words fans shouted out to him.

Sunday night had the “Under The Influence of Music Tour” cross the boarder to Toronto, Ontario where Mac Miller & Wiz Khalifa headlined a show at the Molson Amphitheatre. Imran E, Juan S & Ashley C were on hand for the show and below is some of the content they shared.
Imran wrote this review for the show:
Last night was the Under the Influence Tour at the Molson Ampotheatre in Toronto. The show was amazing. Everything was perfect. The Molson Amp is my favourite venue in Toronto, so I knew the show would be great…and it was…better than I could even imagine. All the artists did amazing, the weather was great, the green smell in the air was fresh, and the crowd was on Cloud 9….just perfect!

This show was pretty badass from the start. We arrived as Chiddy Bang was about halfway through their set. They had the crowd going and just started “HIGH” as we got to our lawn area.
They finished with Opposite of Adults, which was a great way to end it. The crowd loved it. About a 10 to 15 minute set change led into Kendrick Lamar. He played about 6 songs, with ADHD and Swimming Pools being a couple of them. He had a lot of the crowd singing along with him.

Below is what Cory J. had to say:
Show started at 530. Boaz started everything off. He played 3 or 4 songs. Then Chevy Woods played for about 30 minutes. One of the cool things Chevy did was his freestyle to ofwgkta’s “Yonkers”. Next, was Schoolboy Q. He did about a 20 minute show. His last song “Hands on the wheel” was a definite hit. Then Chiddy Bang came out a little before 7. Kendrick Lamar played a 30 minute show. Then Mac played a hour show. Then Wiz did a hour and a half show. This was my 5th Mac concert, and this was the best performance by him and was the coolest visually.
Some of the cool things that happened at the concert:
Before the whole show started, Mac ran on stage and threw a handful of blunts to the crowd. It was really funny.
The big back screen for Mac was awesome. Every song there was a story being played on the screen that went along with the song. For Best Day Ever Bonus, there were videos and pictures of him as a kid being shown. Loitering there was a Clint Eastwood movie shown. For Smile Back, there was a karate movie.
Then, as the beat dropped for the song “Loud”, the stage’s power went out. So Mac freestyled and had some funny bars.

This past Thursday, July 26th, I got a chance to hit up The Influence Tour in Cincinnati. If you’re a Mac Miller or Wiz Khalifa fan, I’d recommend going when they’re in your city.
As you can see, Riverbend (Cincinnati) was packed before Mac got on stage. Overall the fans at this series were incredible. It flat our poured two or three times during the concert and the fans in the lawn didn’t budge. Luckily, I was inside the pavilion, but I couldn’t go without mentioning the dedication that the lawn brought.
